Among the various reception facilities that have received the plaque assigned by Legambiente , bearing the writing "Hotel recommended for its commitment in safeguarding the environment" there is the Abner's Hotel in Riccione.
This is an elegant four-star on the seafront just a few steps away from famous viale Ceccarini. It is distributed over eight floors and each room enjoys a "sea view", wide common areas, a nice swimming pool, a private garden and a restaurant with great windows. All this makes the Abner's Hotel a safe destination for Italian and foreign tourists alike.
The reliability and the competence of the owners, Mr and Mrs Fascioli, the kindness and professionalism of the personnel, an enviable location, a good cuisine rich with fresh fish dishes, attract a vast international clientele to the hotel .
We had a brief chat with Eng. Fascioli, who explained his commitment to safeguard the environment.
"I have wanted to take part in Legambiente's initiative because I love nature and I think that tourism, especially hotel tourism, can enjoy a greater development if the environment is healthier and not polluted. As far as I'm concerned my staff members and I try to carry out our work, making an effort to cause as little damage as possible to the nature surrounding us".
Is your clientele, which arrives from various European countries, aware of this commitment?
I would certainly think so, and foreigners especially appreciate our efforts and compliment us for the ecologist choice we made.
What country are your customers mostly from?
The majority are Italian, then from Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Austria.
