The exhibition "Martini e Novecento", that is the communication history of the famous liqueurs house, one of the first to entrust great graphics masters with its advertising, opened in Ancona.
The exhibition, arriving from the United States and having as its second and last stop Arezzo, is organised by thematic sections: the famous billboards of the first years in the century, testimonies of radio concerts of '36 - with autographed photographs of the most famous lyrical performers of the past century -, a photography gallery pf portraits mad eon the Martini Terrace in Milan between the end of the 50's and the 80's.
Among these, a riotous Nanni Moretti during the presentation of "Bianca", Massimo Troisi, Indro Montanelli, Gianni Versace, heart surgeon Christian Barnard.
The exhibition also offers a glimpse onto some of the literary meetings that Martini&Rossi used to organise in the Pessione Terrace, the historical headquarters of Martini production: from Jorge Amado to Nobel prizes Josè Saramago and Kenzaburo Oe.
